This 40’ Container Flat Bed Car is specially designed to transport 40’ ISO standard containers by railway during inter modal shipping of containers. We could design and manufacture 20' , 40' or 60' ISO containers flat bed railcars according to customers specific requirements.

This container flat bed railcar is fitted with 4 container locks and could ship one container one time. The loading and unloading of 40’ container is easy and efficient. We could customize the loading conditions according to customer’s actual requirements.

This 40’ container flat bed car is mainly composed of under frame, bogies, coupler buffer, air brake system and container locks. The under frame is all steel welded structure, whose main profile and plates are welded by Q345B low alloy high strength structural steel.

The flat bed car's bogies are three-piece casting steel bogie. The bogies adopt variable frictional damping wedge type damping device and the friction pair are made of were resistant material. The bogie center suspension is composed of 8 sets outer helical springs and 8 sets inner helical springs, whose materials are high strength spring steel 60Si2CrVA. The Bogie adopts AAR 5’’*9’’ type C tapered roller bearings and adapter type axle box.

The flat bed car's brake systems are UIC standard Knorr single pipe gradually release brake system with empty /load adjustment device.
