Product Overview

GEZHI Photonics manufactures data center grade fiber optic MPO patch cords. The MPO connector uses a spring-loaded sliding mechanism that securely latches onto adapters, providing reliable connections for network cabling in enterprise data centers, backbone systems, colocation facilities, server farms, cloud storage networks, and telecommunication rooms. Each assembly undergoes 100% factory testing to meet IEC 61753-1 standards.

Custom Polarity Configuration

Proper data transmission requires that a link's transmit signal (Tx) at one end matches the corresponding receiver (Rx) at the other end. Polarity defines the signal travel direction to ensure this correspondence is maintained. MPO connectors feature a key on the top side and a white dot indicating Position 1 location. Key orientation is critical for proper polarity.

Important: MPO interfaces on active equipment are male (with pins). To avoid transceiver damage, MPO patch cords should be female (without pins).

Male (with pins) - Mated to female side for adapters, cassettes or panels connection

Male MPO connector with pins for adapter and panel connections

Female (without pins) - Directly connects to transceivers or other male connectors
